The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a very basic bathroom. After the excursions, it was nice to be able to cool off in the pool. There is an onsite restaurant with good food and amazing staff! There is a grocery store across the street. It is a 10 minute walk to the town plaza/market.

Stayed in the main building. Room was a bit run down (broken lamp etc...) but the beds were comfortable and bathroom was new and clean. Booked in advance but noticed that on the day of check in, the same kind of room we had booked was $50 cheaper. Wished I had waited to book last minute, and then we could have stayed in one of the much nicer cabanas in the back of the property for the same price that I ended up paying.

We arrived at the hotel exhausted after 14 hours of traveling and the music at the pool bar - right below our room - was blaring. We were told that it would be turned off at 10pm. It was all a bit crazy as it was a coolish Monday evening and there was absolutely nobody at the bar or pool! We had just wanted a quiet night's rest. I'm so glad we just booked the one night.

It doesn’t look like much from the front but we absolutely loved our stay!!!! We stayed in room 18 and the bed was amazing! The large screen TV after being out all day was nice to come back to. The room was big and comfy! We only had breakfast there and it was so good!!! Love the staff in the restaurant… for the price… so worth it!!!

The staff here was very friendly at this low key hotel and they offered a reasonably priced shuttle service to and from the airport. Sylvia in particular was so nice and attentive in her waitressing and her efforts to find me some Belizian coins. :-) Rooms are small but were clean and have everything you need. It was historically cool when we were there so did not use the pool but the ambiance around it and the pool bar was relaxing. Breakfast is good and they can make it to go if you are off to see a cave or Mayan ruins. The dinner menu is a bit limited but everything tasted great. Hode’s place restaurant is a short walk down the road if you are looking for a wider menu selection. A grocery store is also across from the hotel so the location is great. I would recommend this place!

Staff at front desk helped us locate my phone by linking to my husbands phone, the gentleman with glasses found my phone location on a map, Aaron who works part time there offered to drive me to the address where I had left my phone in my purse in the back of friends car, they had picked us up and dropped us off and we had no address to go on, no phone number because it was only on my phone, not my husbands, also I had credit cards and money there…Aaron was a sweetie, just wanted to help…the road was rough and hard on his vehicle, and he had just got off work…he was also exceptional at driving me all the way back…Barthes was also helpful and very kind when we had tour operator and shuttle pickup issues, what a great group

The restaurant main cook named Angie refused tp prepare the food as requested. She was written and verbally told of our Dairy ans egg allergies and still tried to serve it to us . The waitress Sylvia told her of our food allergies and Angie the cook ignored her. Putting someone’s life at risk because you are lazy is inexcusable.

Room was clean. Nice setting back in the trees and surrounded by nature. Hot water was intermittent. Wifi was nonexistent in the room most days. Staff were ok but not very friendly or helpful. Pool was very cold and seating in pool area was delapitated and in need of repair or replacement. Food at restaurant was quite poor compared to options nearby. If tours are staying at the hotel, you must book your breakfast in advance or you will have to wait until they depart before your food arrives.
