It wasn't a bad stay but it wasn't what I expected. Instead of a room in the main hotel, we were upgraded to a cabin, in the back of the property where it was so dark I drove into the concrete septic block! No damage fortunately. And I guess back there was better than being up front because of a loud party on a Monday night. At least the room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and the bed was comfortable for the price. Unlikely to return.

Staff were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Great location! Beautiful trail to the river. If possible, the small extra cost for a balcony room is definitely worth it!

Clean fun bungalows with nature outside so you don’t feel like you are in the city, but it’s close to town. The walk to the market and restaurants is only 5 mins. Water refill in the lobby and excursions pick you up at the hotel easily. Staff is nice as well.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Midas! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and ours had a fully equipped kitchen as well. The pool area and bar were relaxing, especially after a long day in the jungle. The staff were wonderful, especially the kitchen crew, who worked tirelessly to get breakfast orders out at 6 am, even when there was a citywide power outage one morning. Everything was within walking distance as well, just a short stroll to restaurants and services. Highly recommended!

Rooms were clean, beds a little soft but comfortable . The pool was a wonderful break from midday temperatures (hot)! Butterfly area was a treat. Air con worked well! Staff very friendly and helpful! Shower not so good…very little water pressure.

I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc. I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again.
