The restaurant was great, although the dinner options for vegetarians weren’t always amazing. Excellent breakfast and lunch. Our room was beautiful and secluded, we stayed in number 10, which had two beds and although we just used one bed, it did give us some extra space and extra room and did set us apart from the other rooms. 「Rooms are a bit older but very clean. Beds not the most comfortable but otherwise no complaints. The staff, especially Levi, really went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. We had an issue with a tour not showing up (due to vehicle issue) and Levi was very responsive and helpful!」

「For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.」

「The hotel grounds are very beautiful. The walkways and bridges and trails are all very charming. The staff was very attentive. Dinner was good and the massages were wonderful. I would highly recommend. The only complaint is there is not air conditioning and it was quite hot」

「Amazing place, guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the land and the Mayan culture. The food was delicious, and the place was just beautiful. Onsite hikes in the rain forest and floating the river in inner tubes are well worth it. Also worth seeing the Mayan ruins and cave exploring were well worth it.」
