"I was surprised that the place was quite a hike downhill. I have limited mobility and it was very difficult. It was very loud in proximity to the city which I also did not expect. There was no water or cups available which I’ve had at every other hotel I’ve stayed at excitably at that price. The food and the pool were amazing. All the huts had hammocks except mine. Once I asked they were accommodating and got one hung up but it was one of the main reasons I reserved the place and was surprised that I had to ask. Overall the people were nice and everything was fine. "

"The hotel room was basic but also very clean. Hotel staff were helpful and provided us with a knife and plate for fruits that we had purchased. They have a water dispenser in the lobby for refills. The location is very convenient. It's right on the main pedestrian walkway in town and within a 5 minute walk to most restaurants, tour companies and the farmer's market. It has a nice rooftop area where you can relax and listen to the birds in the morning. It also has a parking lot. Highly recommended because it is a great value for the price."

"West House is centrally located. Great staff, modern large rooms, good bathroom. No food options available but restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend."

"We loved our stay here. The staff were so helpful. It was nice that we could order our breakfast ahead of time so that it was ready even if we had a tour to get to. It was a bit of a ways from town but we walked there for lunch once. It was also easy and cheap to coordinate a taxi to town if you prefer. The property was beautiful and we even got free coconuts. at the pool one day. "

"This is one of my favorite spots in the world! Nothing beats going to sleep in an active jungle and then waking up to all the birds and monkeys singing and calling. The only downside is that it is sort of all inclusive. If you don't sign up for all the adventures you will be stuck paying $36 usd for a pretty mediocre buffet. We aren't huge eaters and we had our own adventures lined up so we ended up driving the 25 minutes to Belmopan every night. Would be nice if they offered a basic dinner and breakfast menu instead of a very expensive option that isn't very appealing."

"Our stay was really lovely. Rose and the other ladies made us delicious breakfast and dinner - the best that we had in Belize. The property was comfortable and conveniently located. It felt very safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. "
