「The photos online truly do not do this place justice. We had a wonderful stay here and made use of the pool. The staff went above and beyond helping us with a lost luggage situation. The restaurant had great breakfast」

「I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.」

「Our whole time here was fantastic. Having them organize our transportation and tours was such a huge benefit. The property is lovely, especially the cabin we stayed in. The view across the valley is stunning. We especially loved the hammock in the screened in porch. Very relaxing!」

「We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! 」

「Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.」

「Overall, our stay was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lovely lady on reception. The rooms were ok. Limited choices for breakfast. A bit out of a way out of the main town of San Ignacio, so would be better with a car. Overall, I would recommend this hotel based on the price point」
