The resort and entire staff is simply amazing! The onsite restaurant is excellent! The riverside beach makes for a relaxing setting with great waterside service from the bar and restaurant. The tours are led by very knowledgeable guides who are proud to share their culture and heritage.

Gaia Riverlodge was great!. Excellent service, very good food and beautiful scenery and setting of the rainforest and overlooking a waterfall. The tours and guides were also very much enjoyed. Learned alot about Belize, Mayan culture and the rainforest. Highly recommend the whole experience.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Gaia. The rooms are amazing, we had a waterfall room with the peaceful sound of the waterfall in the background and their service was outstanding!

We stayed in the villa and it was wonderful! Very spacious, private, and quaint - I would describe it as rustic luxury. The staff at Gaia is great - everyone goes above and beyond! There is a lot to see and do nearby - especially if you're active. It was a great 4-night stay!

Located in the pine ridge reserve over looking waterfall, the view is stunning. Private waterfall natural pool lounging area is available to the guests. Room is cozy and comfortable, smaller than expected. Complimentary breakfast is great since there are only two high-end restaurants within 25 minutes drive. It is expensive to dine in the hotel. Landscape and the surrounding nature is beautiful. It is close to Big Rock waterfall. There is no AC in the room, but we didn’t feel hot as the mountain is cooling. However, the approximately to the fall does make all our clothings quite damp. The staff are extremely friendly.

Property is very nice overall and the employees were wonderful. Location is lovely with easy access to the waterfall and beautiful sunsets from the deck. Only issue was the water pressure was weak in our our mountain view bungalow. Due to the location you are somewhat hostage to the restaurant as it's a bit of a trek to get out. Fortunately the kitchen did a great job and we enjoyed the meals and the drinks. They were accommodating for early morning departures and would pack up to-go breakfasts if you let them know the night before. Coffee delivery to the room was also greatly appreciated. Overall it's recommended and we would stay there again.

Gaia has an Amazing location perched above a beautiful waterfall. Three days was sufficient for us—gave us time to tour a Mayan Ruin and canoe thru a nearby cave. The food was outstanding as was the staff. Javier and Freddie really made the stay next level. The road in needs some attention, beyond that our stay was great!

Beautiful property! Very expensive but was very thankful I got at least one night experience at Gaia. Waking up to the 5 Sisters waterfalls is magical. Especially loved the garden and was very lucky to get a tour from farmer Pat. We also did a night jungle walk and we enjoyed that a lot as well.

The staff and facilities were amazing. We did a guided tour nearly every day. Every guide was phenomenal - knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Everything you could ask for. The river is so relaxing we could have stayed there all day and would have been thrilled. Cannot recommend enough.

The riverside Villa was amazing. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stay. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was great!! Gaia is a very beautiful place. The property is so serene and was very grounding. The nature and wildlife is amazing and they do an excellent job to keep guests comfortable even though you are nearly in the rainforest. Gaia was as beautiful as all I read about! From the moment we arrived at Belize International Airport, we were greeted right away from a staff member of Gaia informing us of where our shuttle would be. Before you know it, we were in the mountains greeted at the front desk by Colby and Tony in the restaurant who was at our beck and call with every need we had. we had lovely dinners breakfast on the beautiful deck overlooking the waterfall, took the bikes out one day and found big rock waterfall, which was an amazing day. Bring your water shoes Had amazing dinners each night under the beautiful stars. What a perfect relaxing vacation.!!

A Slice of Paradise!

All we can say is WOW — Gaia Riverlodge left a wonderful impression. Truly magical, and by that I mean the hotel itself as well as the professional and courteous team. From Nigel and Kobe at reception, Freddy and team at the restaurant, to Elias on the grounds, all went worked to ensure our stay was a delight. Including the property’s mascot, Coco, who expertly escorted us through the nature path! Highly recommended!

We love the individual “Casita” arrangement - and so many neat locations around the property, yet, everything is so convenient! The staff is unmatched with their friendliness, willingness to educate and inform us/any to the area, the culture, the country and their experiences. There was not one employee we encountered or had interaction with that was not first class! We will return and be sure to recommend to others, friends and family!
