「This is one of my favorite spots in the world! Nothing beats going to sleep in an active jungle and then waking up to all the birds and monkeys singing and calling. The only downside is that it is sort of all inclusive. If you don't sign up for all the adventures you will be stuck paying $36 usd for a pretty mediocre buffet. We aren't huge eaters and we had our own adventures lined up so we ended up driving the 25 minutes to Belmopan every night. Would be nice if they offered a basic dinner and...

「Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.」

「A family run jungle paradise close to many activities. The birds in the area are definitely the main highlight to this property and the staff know it. In fact it is obvious that they did not overdevelop this land to keep the local wildlife happy and close by. This location is a tranquil spot to use as a home base to explore the Cayo District and the property will offer activities using local, knowledgeable guides.」

「Fully stocked kitchen, they thought of all the little things. Host was friendly and showed us where everything was. There are only a few cabins/lodges on the property so it's quiet and peaceful. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and getting some sun. We even made use of the full-size BBQ by the pool one night.
