「The Sleeping Giant is a real gem and in itself a reason to head to Belize and spend a week at this beautiful resort south of Belmopan. The grounds and the interior design of the cottages and the house we rented are the best I’ve enjoyed in many years of travel and the staff is A plus. 「Ka’ana Resort was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to San Ignacio. The moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs who accidentally wandered into luxury. The property is stunning. 「My partner and I didn't quite know what ro expect from "luxury" accommodations in the jungles of Belize. Especially, as a gay couple, we can never be sure of the locals reception of us. We booked the Luxury Villa room. It was spacious and spotless with a wonderful shower and a comfortable king-size bed. An enormous veranda where you can enjoy a cocktail from the well-stocked mini bar overlooks the pool. There is also a comfortable sitting room and a huge kitchen area where you could prepare...

「What an amazing hotel & room. This is one of our favorites of all time. We stayed for 3 nights Food: Every meal was fantastic as we ate breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The fry jacks at breakfast were superb. The prices were reasonable for the meal we ate. The selection changed at each meal. Even our picky eater was very happy. Highly recommend the cheese tasting which you will need to reserve in advance. We lucked out and were able to join due to a cancellation. Staff: Very helpful...
