「The hotel is nowhere near 4 star, it needs updating. It's all very out of date and tired. The breakfast was the worst! Dirty old cutlery and the least they could have done was to put table cloths on the tables. Eggs were dried out and cold., even when I asked for fresh egg, still came out cold as was the bacon. £350 a night & £18 for breakfast! They are having a laugh. Thankfully Expedia fully refunded my money.」

「The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was kept well as a historic building. The bath room was clean and recently refurbished. However, bathtub access need to improve for the safety. It was very slippery and no handle to hold. The location to/from beach was excellent and to/from station was easy by a taxi.」

「You will hear the sound of wood platform while other guess walking around. This ok to me as I live in a lousy place. It would be a problem for those request absolute quiet.」

「The staff where excellent and very welcoming and helpful and always smiling but the maintenance of the hotel is very run down not clean and very old decor the carpets needed a good clean or hoover and the windows are very dirty The breakfast was good and the entrance to the hotel is nice but everything else does need work done to it」

「For a 3 star hotel thought excellent. Room was large. Had comfy bed, very clean, tea and coffee supplied. Had a large bath and shower. Hotel was opposite the beach and had a lovely outside pool. Breakfast was buffet style. Had fresh fruit , yogurts, cereals. Cooked breakfast, toast. All hot and very nice.」
