Living sound around

You will hear the sound of wood platform while other guess walking around. This ok to me as I live in a lousy place. It would be a problem for those request absolute quiet.

Another great stay at the Laguna, when visiting family in Poole we always look to stay at the Laguna. The staff have always been helpful and attentive , check-in is quick and fuss free The rooms are always clean, if you're looking for faults yes you will probably find them but then again you can find faults in a 5 star room if you look close enough. We have never had any issues with rooms and we've stayed here many times. The hotel is in a very good location within in walking distance of Bournemouth town centre, walk down through the gardens and 10 minutes you're there, couple more minutes you're sat on the beach and it's also close to Poole, and of course the surrounding areas including Jurassic coast just a short drive away. They have entertainment often and an onsight bar. The swimming pool is open daily, only been in it once and it is very clean. If you're staying in Bournemouth you can't rely on the weather always being perfect so beach not always an option so a hotel with a pool is a massive bonus. One other big plus is free parking. If you're looking for a wallet friendly hotel whether it be for 1 night or a week or more away I highly recommend The Laguna in Bournemouth.

One of the cleaning staff thinks she sly comes in your room knowing it's in use it's happened everytime iv stayed there apart from 1 time and iv been there a more then a few times

Staff brilliant, room fit for purpose and clean, parking on site limited , ( always been lucky when we stay). Breakfast is absolutely fantastic a must have when staying. Easy walk through park to centre or via road, bus stops up a steep walkway for the able people or round road for others, ( I managed slop with a crutch) .

Hotel needs a big revamp. When arriving the room smelled very clean, but I had a pillow with stains on. There were hair shavings by the sink and in the shower. The remote for tv was sticky. We stayed 2 adults and 1 child. The walls are so thin, we had people stay in the room next to us who made noise till 4am so I barely slept. The next day the whole floor stank of weed. The pool also needs a big revamp, we weren't aware the pool is in a different building. Wouldn't stay again.

Stay was fine and bed sheets were clean. Room could have been slightly better cleaned in the bathroom but otherwise ok. Slightly disappointing that the hot tub was completely cold, as I had booked the hotel for this main purpose.

The room we stayed in was very dirty, hairs all over the bathroom sink and marks on the walls. Found a false nail on the window sill. The furnishings were worn and damaged. We ended up moving rooms because it was so dirty. The property is very dated and you could hear everything in the rooms above and next to us. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and the water was not hot. The pool was ok!

Main hotel was closed - so had to stay in the annex. Annex rooms could of done with some pictures on the wall to make it feel more homely.

We did not have breakfast, pool ok, but the step broke when I stood on it to get into the pool. Jacuzzi water luke warm/cold but OK for one night. Just a short skip and a jump to the centre and beech, free parking came in handy.

The overall look and feel of the hotel is very dated. We only paid £38 for the room which had stained carpet but overall was acceptable for the price. The location isn't good for bars or beach. You need to drive or get a taxi.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. The decor is very dated .... could do with refreshing. Our Room was spacious and comfortable but the pillows were awful. Very friendy and smily, helpful staff. The tasty breakfast was freshly cooked, coffee not so good. It was however a very reasonble price, a bonus compared to other central hotels.

The room was clean, although the bathroom was on the small size. Didn’t use the swimming pool as It was too busy for the time we wanted to go. The car didn’t have much selection of beers on tap, but most Hotels don’t for some reason.

Room was very clean , though small for two and dated bathroom, comfortable bed . Staff are all friendly you certainly feel welcome, there is a small covered pool in the grounds , Breakfast was absolutely delicious cereal full English and toast fruit juice tea or coffee , you ask they deliver. We love this hotel for our little stop overs in Bournemouth
