"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "We loved that many of the staff members remembered our names. Henry, the awesome pool bartender along with all of the other bar tenders were amazing. Also, Minnie at, The Deck and Caroline, our cabana waitress were amazing. We also loved that the young lady that cleaned our room was so meticulous. We made our bed each morning, but we noticed she came in and remade it the correct way. The concierge team and the gentleman at the front door were all extremely professional. My husband and I agreed that Belize has been one of the BEST vacations we've ever had and it had a lot to do with the employees at Alaia. Thanks again for being so amazing. "
