We enjoyed our time at this hotel. The rooms and grounds are spotless. You almost seem like you have the resort to yourself even when it's full. We had a full size fridge and stove top in our room. Our friends in the adjourning room had the same set up but their fridge was a bar size. The kitchen had the essentials to make tiny meals or breakfast in. The hotel supplied coffee/filters/sugar/salt & pepper. We did a couple of meals in the room and then ate out for the rest. The staff at this resort are genuinely friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site has a good menu but is not owned by the hotel. You have to settle your bill each time you're at the restaurant. If you're looking for an active place this is not it. This place is very quiet and family friendly. There was seaweed that washed up daily but the "crew" had it gone in no time. Note that this is also the windy side of the island. Most days are a nice breeze, other days it's a sand blaster. Our only drawback was the location. It's a 40 min golf cart ride from San Pedro and 25 min to Secret Beach on bumpy roads. If you are travelling with little ones take note of that. Bring tie downs for your groceries etc. There are places to buy food and eat out around the resort. Most are a 5-10 ride to find them. We would return to this resort if back in the area because it's quiet, even when it's full there are beach chairs and staff being so nice. Hope this helps someone traveling to the area.

Hate to write this, very disappointed. The resort was a 30+ minute bumpy golf cart ride to most everything else on the island. The water at the beach was full of seagrass and it stank. I woke up a couple mornings to roaches on the floor. One day they decided not to give me wash cloths when that swapped the linens, took an extra day to get them. The staff was pleasant but not very eager to remedy concerns. The restaurant service was terrible. Belize is a popular dive destination. The dive service I used picked me up at the resort dock at 8 or earlier. The restaurant didn't open until 8 and I had the breakfast plan with my stay. I tried to arrange for breakfast the night before but it was rarely ready when I was told it would be. The day I left, at 8 am, I arranged for breakfast at 07:30. I arrived at 07:32 and was told my breakfast was almost ready. A couple came in and ordered, 15 minutes later got their food. The hotel called me to checkout and catch the shuttle, I explained I was waiting for food, I finally got my to go order at 07:52. The restaurant staff seemed unconcerned and sometimes bothered to serve customers. Bartenders Will and Sheila were the bright spots for the stay and the view from the bar.

X’Tan Ha Resort was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The customer service was truly exceptional. The team was highly communicative, arranged transportation for us seamlessly, and remained extremely responsive throughout our stay. That level of care made a real difference. Our room was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The entire property feels like a hidden gem. It is peaceful and quiet, and the guests we encountered were warm and friendly, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The resort is a bit removed from some of the busier parts of the island, but that actually contributes to its charm. If you rent a golf cart, getting to other activities and areas is easy and convenient. One moment that really stood out was when I accidentally left my backpack in a transport van before my flight. I was honestly in panic mode, but the resort team stepped in immediately and was instrumental in helping me get it back. That level of support and care speaks volumes about their commitment to guests. My only critique is that it would be helpful to have more food options available and open later in the evening. Aside from that, this resort is top notch. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, well-run place to stay.

Spotless and well maintained resort. Staff was always available and very welcoming. Restaurant on site is a must try and stay for the happy hour. About a 45 minute golf cart ride from the airport but lots of wonderful places nearby. Mexico Rocks and Stingray Alley are a must do and can book right at the resort dock.

Staff was so friendly and courteous. Accommodation was spacious and clean and the resort is well taken care of. Ideally the resort could offer complementary pick up and drop off at ferry terminals because it is very remote and expensive to get anywhere from here.

The staff could not be more attentive especially Joel. Location is fantastic for those looking to get away from the hussle. Rooms are clean comfortable and spacious. Not much of a beach but a short kayak paddle away you’ll hit shallow turquoise waters. Hiring a golf cart is a must but you need to check out the up north bar near by hosted by Oscar. Onsite food is great especially the breakfast jacks.

The resort was situated north of town which made for a quiet stay. It was just perfect. We had a group of friends and we felt like we had the resort to ourselves. The golf cart adventures into town were great, despite the bumpy roads. The food, staff and bartenders were top notch. Everything I ate was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful!! Would definitely recommend and will absolutely return!

The resort was small and secluded and a little jaunt from San Pedro. But that made it perfect. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were all so helpful, friendly and nice. The food was amazing. The bartenders were so much fun as well! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!!
