「First off, when we checked in they had put us in a queen room; I had booked a king. When I told them, the guy at the desk tried to say I had changed it. I pulled up my original booking to show him. His response was sorry, we don't have a king available. My husband found another worker who changed it for us. OK, all is well. NO, the elevator is out; the new room is on the second floor. We had to roll our baggage cart out the front door, around the hotel, and up a ramp to get into the...

「Vatash (if I remember the name correctly) was very personable. Room had good television options. Didn’t use WiFi, so reception was limited. Thermostat control was great. Quiet and safe. Walking distance to Sylva was good. Nice town with good restaurant options. No usb options, so bring a wall outlet adapter. Shower was good. Coffee in room. Sylva is a nice place to stay when visiting Cherokee. Dillsboro nearby. Be back next year」

「The other reviews rated this hotel highly, which is why we selected it. I think they set the Hotel up for failure. This is not a well maintained property. Amenities were closed or dirty the cushions on the outdoor seating, molded , cigarette butts and Dental floss picks littered the sidewalk in front of the room. We killed a roach in the room on our second day. Breakfast was poor. If it would’ve been rated lower, it would not have had such expectations. The other reviews that rated this high...
