"The grounds and rooms are clean, well maintained, and visually appealing—clearly a lot of effort goes into upkeep. Unfortunately, the service does not match the setting. Staff often seemed disengaged and unhappy to assist, which made interactions feel unwelcoming. The biggest issue, and ultimately the reason my family will not return, was seeing cockroaches in the main buffet and again at the Mexican lunch buffet—on multiple occasions. Several people in my group noticed them around the food, which is simply unacceptable for a 4+ star resort. I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience was too concerning to ignore."

"This was my second time staying here, and honestly, it was even better than the first. I had such a great experience from start to finish. A huge shoutout to the housekeeping staff, especially the lady who cleaned my room — she was absolutely amazing. Every single day, my room was left spotless, smelling fresh and wonderful, and the bed was always perfectly made. Every time I came back from the beach, someone had already come by to clean and organize everything, which I truly appreciated. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Also, Axel at the front desk was so helpful and informative. He made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I had requested an early check-in, and they were kind enough to check me in at 11 AM instead of 3 PM, which was a huge plus since we had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel around 9 AM. The amenities were 10/10, the food was delicious, and I honestly have no complaints at all. One thing I especially loved was how they had so many food and alcoholic drink events by the pool throughout the day — it made everything so convenient when relaxing poolside because you could just grab something and head right back to your spot. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!"

"Tuvimos varias dificultades en la habitación, como una fuga de agua la primera noche y el segundo día no limpiaron nuestra habitación ni cambiaron las toallas (Fue reportado por la persona en el check out). El personal en general es muy respetuoso y atento, sin embargo vimos algunas practicas que no me parecieron correctas, como rellenar una botella de licor con otra de marca distinta. Se supone que es un hotel 4 diamantes y el precio esta por encima de muchos otros. "

"Go to VIP exit in airport for the shuttle. Airport staff wasn't very helpful. Hotel and restaurant staff is great, but I paid the $20 resort fee in cash during check in, and just got billed on my credit card for it. Beware!"

"Secrets Cap Cana is such s beautiful resort. I would like to thank all of the workers who with a beautiful smile did a wonderful job making our stay an exceptional and pleasant experience. A big shout out to our concierge, Jourdain, who went above and beyond to meet our needs and then some. Loved our Bali. We really appreciated all his attentions. Maria at the pool and in the evenings, so happy and energetic making sure everyone was having fun. Roadin who served us at the beach, was sweet and fun to talk to. Eddie “Murphy” at the french restaurant gave us exceptional service also fun to chat with. Really everyone at this hotel deserves praise. We want to go back!!!"

"Quiet place, no activities for kids it is more like to play golf and stay there to sleep, food super expensive, that charge you 18% plus hotel fee"
