The roome and the staff here are fine. Nothing relate to complain about there. The beach however he’s not very nice and the preferred club section is nothing more than a small roped off area with crummy loungers, and only three cabanas. All of the furniture down there needs to be replaced. The real big negative at this resort is that the food at every single restaurant is just awful. I’ve never been to an all-inclusive where I’ve actually lost weight before the only restaurant that we’ve found so far where we can find anything that’s reasonably well done is at the steakhouse. The Japanese restaurant is absolutely terrible as is the Italian restaurant. The food is disgraceful and they really need to step up their game here. One less comment on the beach is that you can’t swim in the ocean there. It’s all rocks.

The room, just a king with ocean view was so comfortable. Very very clean! Comfy bed, great balcony, The bathroom was GREAT! Jacuzzi tub separate toilet. Doors open up the bathroom to the main room and it’s open and airy or you can keep it private and cozy. Very very clean

Preferred bar was poor. Ran out of glasses every evening and poorly staffed. Servers were washing glasses instead of serving guests. Beach grill was good …. Ramon was best in class server. He always was attentive and worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. Sports centre was great. Miguel was excellent and a pleasure to spend time with. Very knowledgeable about the sports. Room staff and security was a challenge. In the evening (9pm and later), they would gather on our floor and socialize. This was unacceptable. (Room 1207). Feel like the hotel has declined in quality since it became a Dreams property. And the Preferred customer model is not a value add at all. Some restaurants were not staffed to support the flow of customers ( ie. steak house and Mediterranean rest.).

Nuestra estadía en Dreams Cap Cana, Punta Cana fue simplemente maravillosa. Desde el primer momento todo estuvo impecable, limpio y muy bien cuidado. La atención del personal fue excepcional, siempre amables, atentos y con una sonrisa. Queremos destacar especialmente a nuestro conserje, quien estuvo pendiente de cada detalle durante toda nuestra estadía. Constantemente nos sorprendía con lindos detalles en nuestra habitación, lo que hizo nuestra experiencia aún más especial y memorable. La animación del hotel es un 10/10. Cada hora había actividades diferentes, divertidas y bien organizadas, logrando que todos los huéspedes se mantuvieran entretenidos y disfrutando al máximo. La comida fue muy buena, con excelente sabor y variedad, y los tragos deliciosos, siempre preparados con dedicación y mucho cariño. Sin duda, Dreams Cap Cana es un lugar al que volveríamos sin pensarlo. Totalmente recomendado para unas vacaciones inolvidables.

Room was clean. Property nicely maintained. Breakfast buffet was good. Lunch and dinner was OK. 24 hour cafe was very nice. Room service was good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The pool was dirty. I stayed For 5 nights they came to clean it once. Also I accidentally broke a glass plate called it in around 10am staff didn’t arrive till about 4/5pm after I had to continuously call. Everything is slow. Room service took 1/2 hours to arrive every time I called. I requested late check out they approved then waited till the day OF TO tell me I couldnt Do a late checkout after they already told me I could. Food @ all resturants was a 4/10.

I reported a guest stalking us and being rude to my 2 daughters and myself. I text the concierge, talked to the front desk and they did not even respond or talk to me. When we left we were told they provided transportation, we had to pay the driver because he said that was not something the resort does. I felt very mislead and upset by the management. I feel a phone call or email is due.

This was our third group trip to a resort, and unfortunately, it was by far the worst experience. While some staff members were excellent, the service overall was marred by extreme inconsistency and what felt like a clear bias. At the 24/7 coffee shop, we encountered two very different levels of service. One staff member was wonderful, but the other was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My entire group shared the exact same sentiment. We noticed a recurring pattern across the resort and the cafeteria: staff were energetic and friendly toward some group (which I can't mention here due to expedia/Hyatts review policy/rules) but be prepared for a very different level of "hospitality." based on where you are from. Beyond the service, the food was mediocre and the pool was underwhelming. Hyatt needs to invest in serious diversity and hospitality training. When you treat paying customers poorly, you can't expect them to return. Best of luck - we are never going back there again.
