"The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety of options from fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, potatoes, eggs, juices & milk, and bacon or sausage (depending on the day). The complimentary soup daily was also nice to go with our homemade sandwiches in the afternoon & evening."
"I give this Hotel high marks in all areas. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel, with different featured items each of the four days we were there. It also appears that they opened the breakfast earlier than usual on the weekend days because of the large number of people staying there who had to be out and about early due to a sports event. Wonderful!"
"Very convenient location, right off of interstate/highway 52. Lots of dining / shopping all within 10mins from the hotel! Breakfast was good, toast, bagels, waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruit. Cereal, milk, juices, coffee. Very warm & welcoming hotel! Pool hot tub was nice, towels provided. We were the only ones in there both nights of our stay! Walmart/texas roadhouse down from hotel. McDonald's & gas station on corner of the hotel street. Would highly recommended!! "
"We enjoyed everything about our stay, including all of the historic displays and items throughout. The only complaint the both of us had, was that the mattress was not very comfortable and the bed frame squeaked excessively. Whenever one of us would move or roll over while we were sleeping, it would wake the other person up"
