「Stayed here for one night with my 1 year old.although they forgot to put a cot in, when I asked they were extremely quick to follow up on this and being a cot a d get it set up. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Clean and spacious rooms. Mainly comfy although no air con in the room and it was roasting so had a rough night. The surrounding area is great, the food I. 「A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). 「We visited Healds Hall for a family occasion. The food was excellent throughout - both catering for a large number at the function and serving breakfasts next day - having everything prepared from fresh ingredients. The room we stayed in was obviously refurbished. With the modern amenities of a good bathroom, and the restful atmosphere of the period house, it was a very pleasant experience.」
