「The Hotel is a little dated but the norm for a town like Coldstream. The food was good, the breakfast excellent and the staff really cared about the clients. We enjoyed it and the locals were friendly and the service for our dog excellent.」

「I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. 「At first a rather unassuming place along a very busy A1 main road, by a petrol station. Yet, once installed after a swift checkin with a very friendly member of staff, the view on the Northumberland countryside from the bedroom is nice and soothing, and the noise of traffic is absent.
