「Had a wonderful one night stay for a special occasion. Our primary reason for visiting was the spa and it did not disappoint. We used it the afternoon of arrival and the following morning before breakfast. It was lovely in the cold and we hope to experience it in warmer weather too. We ate dinner in the hotel and it was very pleasant. Breakfast selection and quality was excellent. 「Excellent, spacious room which was very clean as was the en suite bathroom. There was a good breakfast menu and the cooking was very good. The location just off the central market place is excellent and it is a good spot for exploring the Borders. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.」
