Lovely bed and breakfast in stunning surroundings. Angela couldn't do enough and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend it. If you are relying on public transport do your research due to the remote location but well worth the travel. Wish I had booked for longer.
Great B&B and the room is seperate from the house , lovely room very clean and tidy also lovely bathroom with complimentary toilitries everything you need coffe machine, kettle complimentary tea and coffee also with few extra nice snacks bottle water, bar chocolate, crisps very comfortable bed also had black out blinds perfect the staff all very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and on one of the mornings
we were leaving early so the owners brought us some breakfast to the room along with a packed lunch to take with us on our day out would definitely recommend and we will definetly be back excellent B&B
Absolutely brilliant!!
The room was lovely, everything in it you could want and more. Very generous with toiletries and refreshments. I had a perfect nights sleep! There is also a lovely garden you can use and enjoy.
Staff were very relaxed, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was faultless, generous servings, everything on the menu you could want, hot and beautifully cooked. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with a choice of toast. This was served with both hot and cold beverages. The cafe has a lovely rustic feel, it was very busy, but still relaxed.
Location - a great place to stop when travelling to/from Scotland.
There is also a very nice pub opposite for evening dinner, which was also great.
I would definitely stay here again, Thankyou to the staff, they obviously work super hard.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Pros - friendly check in, great tea tray with fresh milk, spotless room, very cosy and welcoming, lots of parking
Cons - if your a light sleeper fridge noise might keep you awake
Only one night on this occasion which is way too short for the facilities and comfort offered by this peaceful location in the middle of Northumberland.
Assured of a warm welcome from the hosts who are onsite.
Licensed cafe serves food and a local pub is nearby.
We will be using this for future visits to the area without any shadow of doubt
Great staff, friendy and helpfull. Room is bid , nice bed and even a sofa that was comfy. Outside patio furnature in a private garden great to catch a few rays. Food in the cafe ajoining the lodges so not far to walk, food is to die for great sunday dinner with proper Yorkshire puddings and the beef fell apart. Breakfast has plenty of good produce you will need somenroom as there is lots of it. The cakes are very naughty but very nice. And have a looknround at sime of the local artist craft.
Wish we were closer would be coming
We stayed here for three night, room was spotless and very well equipped. Breakfast was really good. Staff are very friendly.
I can definitely recommend this place and I will be staying again
