Clean, friendly and well-located.

Excellent, spacious room which was very clean as was the en suite bathroom. There was a good breakfast menu and the cooking was very good. The location just off the central market place is excellent and it is a good spot for exploring the Borders. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.

This is a well appointed, conveniently positioned place to stay in Kelso. On site private car parking is available plus free on-street car parking - but please check timings which are well sign posted. Our room was exactly as expected and the en-suite ideal for our needs. Clean beds/linen and windows which opened - always a pleasant find. Our host was an excellent source of local knowledge and an excellent cook - well organized and provided a breakfast to set us up for the day ahead. Seems there are lots of folk who visit on a regular basis - always a good sign. The conservatory and garden are available to use & the wifi worked a treat. Didn't use the tv but was available in our room. Would gladly stay again and am only sorry it has taken us so long to discover The Borders!
