Staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Food excellent. Room clean but a few repairs required in bathroom and bed. Enjoyed our two nights stay.

First, the really good bits - the staff were very welcoming & friendly. The room in the main building was fine, bed was comfortable & clean. Grouting mouldy in bathroom but decent size & good shower, Clearly a popular village pub. But - the carpet on the stairs and landing was disgusting. The whole place needs tlc; some things would take very little effort or cost, a pot of paint and weed removal outside.

This was my second time staying here, and is already one of my favourite places to stay while away on business. Friendly staff and customers alike, the food is outstanding and it is noticed that the proprietors really do care about customer care and I would recommend this place anyone.

Loved this old establishment , the staff, the restaurant , so friendly and welcoming, the food was lovely and well presented. The room too and the bathroom so comfortable and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here in such a beautiful part of the country and will recommend to anyone looking to visit this area. I will definately stay here again.
