「The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. 「Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! 「Room was newly renovated and very spacious. Gym and pool were excellent, best gym I’ve ever seen as a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we slept awfully, the hotel/room above us was so noisy. All we could hear all evening and through the night was the tv, banging and snoring. 」
