"All round very good but the breakfast being not quite as good as a premier inn but much more expensive this need attention.
However it's a great place to stay."
"Nice welcome from reception and help with bags.
Room very comfortable and clean but a bit stuffy due to exceptionally warm weather and no AC in room which can’t be helped but had brought our own cooling fan in addition to the one provided by the hotel.
No bar service outside so had to get own drinks from outside bar or in the Muddy Boot pub inside.
Drinks prices are a bit on the steep side but a great choice of wines beers and cocktails.
Staff mostly friendly but I wouldn’t say they were above and beyond in terms of the service.
We ate in the brasserie both night and enjoyed what we had but highlight was the excellent breakfast.
Location is fantastic being right on the banks of Lake Windermere and next to the ferry pier which takes you to Bowness although this ends around 6pm so there’s not much choice of alternative places to eat in the immediate area unless you want to drive out.
Overall an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend."
"I was very pleasantly surprised with Park House Hotel. I had looked into about 20 places to stay for a couple of days and all had poor reviews. On arrival, I parked in their promenade car park (£10 per night but it saved hunting around the area). Lovely old fashioned hall and stairwell. Check in was really smooth and the receptionist gave me great advice on the facilities and amenities. My room was on the first floor. I was still a bit hesitant as I unlocked the door as to what is on the other side (I have stayed in terrible B/pool places before, and I was thinking of all those poor reviews of other places). I was really pleasantly surprised. I was lovely and modern. I would compare it to a decent Premier Inn room. Bed was so comfy, coffee/tea and biscuits provided, No aircon, but a great big window that opens (high up, so no danger of falling), and it has a great albeit partial view of the Prom. Bathroom was also nice and modern. 2 armchairs in the room to relax. There was entertainment on every night but I didn't go as out with friends. Same with restaurant and bar so cannot comment on food but they were busy at breakfast and t teatime when I was heading out.
Overall, a great stay with really helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is very clean and definitely not dated. I will return if I return to Blackpool. Well done team."
"This hotel was very excellent overall. I truly loved the pool and all the extras that come with it. The gym is honestly superior to all I've seen. The beds were very very comfy. The breakfast, dinner, Pub & Grill were also very tastefull and well worth the price. There is also plentyyy of parking space available. You also have a zoo which is very close by which is great for a lovely day out. 10/10!"
"Room spotless
Staff wonderful and helpfull bar , restaurant, reception.
Breakfast cooked fresh to order.
Dinner excellent choices and good quality.
Limited drinks on all inc package but we'll worth it as drinks are expensive."
"The apartment was spacious and overall clean. Excellent sleeping mattress - we are buying one for us for home. Only the balcony was messy. Hotel on beautiful grounds and staff in the restaurant and spa were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, very close to Lancaster city, easy access by Uber. Definitely would come back."
