When you check in they still have plexiglass between you and the front desk clerk - not very welcoming. The hallways and rooms are very dated. But, most important the room was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was also good. The bar in the lobby also served the best cocktails we had on the entire trip. Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown River North
clean room, great location, good breakfast, friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like too much was there is no self parking and valet parking overnight was expensive.
