"We enjoyed our stay at Spring House Inn. It reminded us of staying in a state park lodge. It is on a large property with a creek, lots of trees, plenty of parking.
Our room was large, clean, and quiet. Breakfast offerings included eggs, sausage, waffles, and yogurt. The hotel is very convenient for a visit to near-by Indiana Dunes National Park (visitor center is about a 6 minute drive). We would stay again.
In terms of feeling safe and nearness to the park, the surrounding area is great. It is very residential. There is a pizza restaurant next door. No other shops or businesses in the surrounding blocks. "

"The building isn’t fancy at first glance but inside is very nice and so clean. The staff was very friendly and as a single woman traveling alone I fly very safe there. "
"The room was very clean and the ved was extremely comfortable. I loved the view of the lake and the balcony was just big enough for me to do yoga in the morning. Some of the interior could use some replacements and renovations, but it was comfortable and affordable. "
"This Inn is a lovely place with luxurious king beds. It was quite an enjoyable place to stay and all the staff was very friendly. 10/10. No pool but you really can't beat it for the price "
