Our room at the Furness Mansion was spotlessly clean, tricked out with everything we could imagine needing for small meals (fridge, coffee pot, coffee, a few plates/bowls/utensils), a bidet!, well-appointed bathroom and shower, and comfy beds and linens. We loved being close to the Dunes National Park. A lovely place to stay for an evening or two.

Our visit to Furness Mansion could not have been better. The room was spotless and very welcoming with a personal note from the staff. The bathroom was well stocked and had a wonderful waterfall-style shower head…so soothing. The keyless entry codes worked perfectly every time. The staff kept us up to date about our reservation and reached out to us afterwards. The location is very convenient to all the National and State Park dune locations. I look forward to visiting and staying at Furness Mansion again!

We tried something a little outside our norm and it was nice. The room was nice and good size and clean Didn’t get as much time to explore the property as we wanted but it was neat and in a good location in relation to the beaches and national park.

The place had a great vibe, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful, professional, and always quick to answer any questions we had. We'll definitely be recommending this place to our friends and would love to stay here again in the future.

This is a very unique place to stay that’s not a typical hotel. From my research many of the local hotels were fairly ran down. The Furness Mansion was very clean and well setup. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. The host(s) did an excellent job of communicating the check-in process.

First of all, the doctored up aerial photo is very misleading. The traffic from the highway out front was very loud and disruptive to our sleep. There was some black mold in the tub area and some parts of the tile that appeared to have not been cleaned for a while.
