"Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Cartagena was absolutely wonderful. The property was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and had a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for accommodating our family, especially with our small toddler. What truly made our experience stand out was the outstanding customer service. Every hotel staff member we encountered were extremely kind, professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A very special thank you to Natalie from the Regency Club, who was absolutely exceptional. She truly went out of her way to assist us during our stay and made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Her kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced our overall experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hyatt Regency Cartagena to anyone visiting the area. We look forward to returning in the future!"

"Beautiful hotel although front rooms could be extremely noisy from the street action. Front desk staff was extremely slow on providing me my invoice, 2 hours of calling requesting it and I still have not received. I expected more from Four Seasons regarding pool bar staff. Rest of our stay was wonderful. Hotel Manager handled my issues with professionalism. "

"Clean rooms, amazing bed and pillows, great breakfast, delicious restaurant, a/c in rooms work great. They had construction going on early in the morning but once asked to stop they did & compensated us for the inconvenience. Can’t beat the location either! Overall my partner & I will be visiting again next time we come to visit the walled city! Thank you for having us Bastión"

"Our room had a very bad smell- when I asked to move to another room, they had non available. I was told that they will put some air fresheners in the room but that was not done. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom on the 2nd day! Breakfast was ok, same thing every day. The staff does not know English at all, only the people at the reception. Very slow service. The pool and location were the only 2 good things."

"The location of his hotel is convenient, especially if you’re going to do a boat ride. It is near many clubs/bars/rooftops, so if you’re looking for something quiet this may not be the place for you. We got lucky with a lower level room facing the square, so the sound was not as intense for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast option is totally worth it, I liked the rotating local food options. Rooms are generally clean and housekeeping was great. There is wear and tear, mostly in the bathroom. The whole floor got soaked after every shower because the door had a gap under it and the water drained slowly. Noticed some mildew in the bathroom as well, but hard when you’re in such a humid place. AC in the room was great and provided a place to cool off and relax after walking around in the heat. Rooftop pool was awesome. Overall happy with our stay."
