We have travelled a lot and Bastion is in our top 5% hotel for Breakfast (surprisingly good European quality level) and it has a great rooftop pool. It is in the center of everything but surprisingly quiet.⭐️🙂

The entire staff that we met while we were there were wonderful and very friendly. The hotel is well kept and is perfectly located to everything. It’s a small boutique hotel that is perfect for a private retreat. The spa was very relaxing and had experienced staff. Jorge and Jhordan and Gina were just a few staff that made our trip a wonderful experience.

The room was great… Spacious, very clean, well appointed. But it was really the staff that made it exceptional. Jordan the concierge was amazing. The first the front desk were incredible and literally every single staff member we interacted with was terrific. They plans - everything we did was through the hotel - and everything happened perfectly. From renting a private boat to tours of the market and a cooking class, salsa dancing for our family, riding ATVs and para triking. And More. Highly recommend.

The hotel is gorgeous, excellently maintained and decorated. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The front desk manager Jorge was very helpful setting up a luxury trip to the small island of Sabai off the Islas de Baru. The restaurant staff learned about my mom’s birthday and Gina led the way in organizing a celebration with balloons and cake! This is a trip we’ll never forget not only because of the beautiful amenities but also because of the dedication of the staff. Can’t forget to mention the server on the rooftop pool, he pampered us like we were royalty. Without any reservations I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience a luxury warm experience.

This place was exactly as described. The staff was extremely nice and the hotel was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. It was located in probably the best spot you could find. More great dining choices than you could imagine within a 3 min walk. The pool was amazing and the pool bartender was the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. Five stars!

The staff were amazing, the location is excellent in walking distance of everything. The rooms are big and cleaning happens every day. I really loved the design of the hotel, the gym is a bit limited but it works for a person or two. Had two treatments at the spa which were great and the breakfast was good too. Above all, the service and friendliness is what stood out the most.
