A/C needs maintenance because it wasn't working properly at our room. Very clean! The pool and the rooftop need maintenance also, but we still enjoyed them. Service is just excellent. Breakfast was great too! Best location ever!!

The room was very clean, the cleaning staff were very attentive. The pool is the perfect size to cool off after exploring the city. Front desk staff were super attentive and accommodating. The breakfast that I ordered was fantastic. Hotel is walkable to anywhere you would want to see.

Great location walking distance to everything but a bit away from the noise and bustle of the old city centre. Having the roof top pool was great. We had a problem with our AC. They came promptly to fix when they couldn’t that moved us to a new room. Karen the customer service rep apologized many times and sent a beautiful fruit basket to our new room. Can say enough about the GHL highly recommend and we would stay again. 10/10

This is a basic hotel. Like a basic Best Western. The rooms are showing their age, with some rough walls, worn decor and fixtures. It’s clean, and it’s fine, the bed is comfortable, but it’s nothing special. The pool lining is discolored and dirty looking. The staff are very friendly and courteous, the included breakfast is a great perk. The bar service at the pool is very very slow. Overall, it was fine, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The Arsenal was a very nice hotel with an excellent location in Cartagena. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also worth the money. Our only complaint was that the advertised gym wasn’t much to brag about. I would highly suggest getting out and walking around the hotel on your first day there and check everything out because there’s so much close by the hotel. Getsamani actually begins right in the back door! I would definitely recommend the arsenal for a first time stay.
