Room was very clean, faucet handle for the bathroom sink came loose but was only a small inconvenience. The shower door would stay ajar so I had to hold it closed as to not get water everywhere. Was annoying but I made it work. Breakfast was good and refreshing. Staff was very helpful and informative. Location was great. Easy access to Getsemaní and only a 10 minute walk to the clock tower. Also the street the B&B is on made it easy to call an uber or be dropped off however I only really used uber the first night. Overall, I would stay again. King suite was spacious and the window view, both day and night, was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend to others if they want an easily accessible hotel that is in the heart of Getsemaní. Also, the AC hitting you as you stepped foot into your room was worth the cost ten times over.

Hotel Santa Cecilia was perfect for my time in Cartagena. It's a very easy walk to the walled city and just a block or two from the charms of Getsemani. I was glad to have this quiet hotel to come "home" to. The staff was excellent and my room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great! I would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay!

I am so glad I stayed at this hotel! It was perfectly located, there was someone at the front desk 24/7, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The shower had strong hot water and the free breakfast each morning was delightful. Very friendly staff, too!

Excellent hotel

Very good hotel. Excellent hot showers , beds , AC , everything is very good. Free breakfast is ok too. Strict 3.00 pm check in policy , and no guests allowed . You have to register a guest per reservation. Location is ok. Very good for the price.

Complimentary breakfast included was delicious and filling. The entire staff was friendly and so very accommodating. Beautiful views of the bay and walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the clock tower entrance to the old city. Water pressure and temperature were my only “complaints” but I like my water hotter than most. This was a great place to stay and I do highly recommend it.

Great Hotel Near the Walled City in Cartagena!

I traveled to Cartagena with my family and wanted to stay close to the Walled City. The location is only a few steps away to the walled city restaurants, shops, artisans, places of interest, and a beautiful exceptional view from our room window. The staff is very friendly, the place is impeccably clean, the room is a good size, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the room has a small fridge very convenient, and room service is bringing in new towels every day. It was a great experience. The only thing that I would recommend is if you can't sleep with noise, know that around the wall city and its surroundings there's always party buses going by and bars going on until late. If you have a good attitude and don't mind, just make it part of your trip experience. :)

Highly recommend this hotel. Comfortable and spacious room (we had an interior facing Junior Suite). I was initially disappointed with the interior facing room but with the amount of street noise and lively discos, it was the best option. The staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Delicious breakfast with nice options. We prefer staying in vibrant Getsamani as it is an easy walk to Cartagena. Can’t wait to come back!!

This was a great hotel, they have security at night, we felt very safe. Hotel staff were very friendly and willing to help in any way. Omar from front desk was the best thing, was full of information and the breakfast sever was such a sweet lady. Also, the breakfast is actually very decent. We had issues with the toilet not flushing and it was fixed right away. Location is topnotch, nice restaurants around and center is only ten minutes walk. The only thing this place is missing is a Pool and please have invest on "do not disturb sign". Thanks again to all the staff for all the smiles!

The hotel is actually on the second floor behind the doors, so the initial steps after the long day were not a welcome sight. Check in was smooth, but the internet was not working in our room, which apparently is ok. Had to spend time convincing staff to fix the issue, so they connected us to the admin network. Breakfast had options, the food was just ok. Booked the location thinking there would be a nice waterfront, which unfortunately is a marina, but the area is walkable and feels safe.

Breakfast anyone?

Well located hotel with comfortable rooms. However their breakfast area is very small for the amount t of rooms they have, so, if you come at the peak of the morning prepare yourself to wait standing up for quite some time.
