「Our bathtub was creepy. Couldn't stabilize our temperature in room plus loud fan! Waffle iron was dirty. Waffle batter didnt work well. But i liked they had sugar free syrup. Breakfast was fair. Wakened by doors banging loudly every time someone left their room. Location good just nw of Charleston.」

「Staff is excellent! The room looked a little rough around the edges. Nail polish dumped down the bedside table and onto the carpet. Spots on the carpet as well. Not sure when the top blanket on the bed had been laundered last. I folded it down and went on. The property is beautiful and is close to the highway. Easy access to everything. The lobby is nice and inviting. The breakfast was good. 」

「No bedbugs but there were ants in our room. Overnight staff wasnt very hospitable. She said we could drive up to our room, and then 1 min later told us we couldn't. Didn't greet us and wasn't kind. A bed is a bed but I wouldn't stay again 」

「The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake.」

「I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...
