「Lovely location by the lock, as soon as we entered the bar area to collect key welcoming environment we made enquiries about the area as considering relocating everyone was so helpful. Room was comfy n clean perfect for our stay Food was lovely too.」

「Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire.」

「Nice clean hotel with a nice ambiance. We only stayed one night as easy walk to town to see the boat illuminations which was perfect. We had a room at the top floor. Compact but practical for the price and one night. 」

「Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. 」

「We found the hotel to be well located for our journey. We stayed in room 15 on the third floor, it looked to have been recently redecorated and to a good standard. The bed was king size and comfortable. We would happily stay there again. The staff were very helpful. 」

「The staff were all friendly & helpful. The family room was large, clean & modern. The breakfast was good, though the dining room was packed due to a conference. This was our second stay here & we would stay again.」
