「Lovely home cooked breakfast and comfortable room. Best bathroom stayed in so far as was really spacious with separate shower cube and bath - a real treat. Staff very friendly and thoughtful.」

「We cant praise this place enough. The welcome, the room, the decor, and the food. It was absolutely first class. We only stayed one night but it was faultless. We would unquestionably stay here again.」

「From start to finish it was a delightful stay, it had a lot of charm and we loved the chickens and goats the breakfast was great with all that you needed and more, the host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, l will recommend this place to everyone at your club and we will return in the future. Thanks Nigel & Kim」

「Perfect B&B. Sue and John were very welcoming and couldn't have done more for us. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped with lots of attention to detaill. Everything was spotlessly clean in the room and the communal areas. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Only downside was the road which was a bit challenging but we got used to it!」

「It is a charming place, it is dated but that adds to the charm. The hosts are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Very good value for money and a lovely location」

「We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Sheriff Lodge. The owner accommodated our early check in, which was very kind of her. Throughout our stay we had good conversations with the owner, who was a lively lady. Room was nicely decorated. The bed very comfortable and the room/bathroom exceptionally clean. Breakfasts were freshly cooked to perfection, with a wide choice. Location was ideal for the town, albeit the walk back up the hill took us longer than the walk down :) Most definitely...
