The hotel was clean and it had secure parking around the back. Breakfast is incorrectly advertised as online it says breakfast cooked to order, but in reality it is packaged croissants, apples and cereal. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. All round ok stay

Booking a room was misleading because the picture of the room wasn’t the room we were put in , wasn’t told we could order a cooked breakfast, wasn’t told that they had a smoking area, overall the room was very clean , the bed and bedding was spotless, we had tea , coffee and biscuits in room , bathroom was spotless which was very appreciated

Everything was superb with this little place the themed room we were staying in (Paris) was amazing, a lot of effort was put into it I’d love to go back and stay in another room , maybe the Casablanca. Only one complaint , only small one , was the advertisement said enjoy a little drink in the bar , the pictures looked great , on asking if we could get a drink the response was “there is no bar now”

Ideally placed, friendly and well ran hotel/inn. Contact was great from the start and the lady we dealt with was very helpful. I had enquired about early check-in, I had a call to advise this might not be possibly due to cleaning the room between the last guest and us but they would try to. We arrived early and the room was ready, which was a great help as we were going out for the rest of the day and not planning on returning until late evening. The room themes are brilliant, and the manager even showed us 2 of the other themed rooms so we knew in future if we stayed again to request those named rooms. The bed was super comfy too! Would 100% stay here again in future when we visit Nottingham! The only thing I didn’t know until the day off travelling up was that parking is £10 for a space at the back of the hotel. BUT it is a secure/gated car park, and that price is much cheaper than the other car parks local to the hotel.

The room in which we were to stay was the St Petersburg room. The room smelt of dust and that was going to be the least of our worries. We sat on the bed and immediately the bed squeaked and the frame moved. Getting off the bed was another story as the mattress was below the steel frame so you literally had to climb out over it. The frame of the bed which was a 4 poster style bed rocked on any movement. After spending 20 minutes in the room we decided not to risk the bed collapsing and chose to leave and pay for a different hotel. We did not raise this with the hotel at the time as we did not want to have any confrontation and just handed the keys back and left. The hotel rooms do not look anything like the photos on Expedia or any other search engine. Disappointed as was supposed to be a special occasion.
