"All the reviews we read were accurate. While this isn’t a 5 star resort experience, it was an excellent stay. The entire B&B was incredibly clean, the inn keeper is helpful, pleasant, but unobtrusive, and the location can’t be beat. Under 5 minutes walk to the beach and close to all restaurants and shops. We parked and didn’t use our car at all for our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again."

"My husband and I love the Empress. It is located right across from the beach and the boardwalk and the Pinball museum. We took a day and use the pool and it was fantastic. The people that work there are very kind and easy to talk to. We stay there about four times a year and never had a bad experience and the place is clean."

"I stayed in Rm 9. It was clean, modern and nicely decorated. A chair or small bench by the window would be a lovely addition. The breakfast was ok, because the bacon was cold, and the eggs watery. It was nice to have several outdoor places to enjoy coffee. I tried all three…patio, front porch and upper porch.😃 Steam trays and self serve along the bank of windows overlooking the patio might be a better option. Also, the offering of more than 1 fruit (I can’t eat cantalope), would be appreciated. The property is gorgeous, and so close to the beach. I’ll be back!"
