「Overall the hotel was great. Location was is perfect for visiting grandfather mountain. Room was very nice. Conveniently located next to a grocery store. I encountered one issue concerning breakfast as I was erroneously charged for an “included” breakfast. Thankfully Expedia is reimbursing me for those charges. At check in I was told I did not have the included breakfast with my room package. The next morning I was told by a different front desk person there would NOT be any charge, so we...

「Our second stay at these cabins and always impressive and beautiful. We will return and we also highly recommend.」

「When pulling out the sofa bed a sheet was found with feces on it, we were disgusted. They brought us new sheets and were apologetic. But that is a health violation in my mind, and we wondered what else we would find. The hotel is quiet and has a really nice outdoor area for relaxing. Breakfast was really good!」

「We have stated this Hotel number of times while in the Sprucepine area. They are renovating the rooms, so some are updated, some are not but are still functional. The Hotel has really easy parking in front of your room, you can get a good night sleep here.」

「We tried to leave our luggage prior to check in time and were told no, they could not do that. Very unusal!. On the positive side, the front desk did refrigerate some meds before we checked in. Breakfast was good.」

「This is a very old property. The current owners are trying to update everything. I wish I could give it a higher rating because they're trying so hard. The rooms are very dated but the beds were comfortable. They are updating the rooms one at a time The location is great, less than half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully they can revive this motel. There's a great restaurant down the road in Linville Falls called The Famous Rockhouse. I highly recommend them for breakfast.」
