「Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through. The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience.」

「Wonderful hotel on the square. The owner was super nice, the guy at the front desk waited on my due to traffic in the mountains to check me in. He was super nice. There’s history, cool decorations, modern class met old school charm. They did a wonderful job with the remodeling keeping the old feel and refurbishing it while ushering in modern amenities. You feel like you should be paying $500 a night, which in other areas it would cost that but Burnsville is a little nothing town and this place...

「The room was well appointed, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, The hosts were very thoughtful in having coffee, bottled water, iced tea, soda and juice available in the dining room 24/7. The complimentary continental breakfast was convenient and offered a wide selection of breakfast items including fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, danish, granola with toppings, instant oatmeal and more. There was a lovely private, comfortable patio area which I definitely enjoyed.」
