「We might have just come during a time when they were understaffed, but the day we checked out it was impossible to find a single employee to help us. We didn't need the breakfast but wanted a cup of coffee before we headed out and had some other questions and we went to the front desk multiple times, even walked into the dining room, and never saw an employee. 「This is a nice, fairly new hotel; large rooms and comfortable beds. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was excellent! The elevator was not operating for our 2 nights there, but that was not much of an imposition. Also, ice is available for your rooms, but only at the front desk. Very convenient to Main St.」

「CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading.
