「Seems nice in pictures but was not in person. Slight old smell throughout. TV was ancient... not even a Guide, forget about apps or connectivity. Bed uncomfortable/basic. Breakfast was as bad as hotel breakfast can be.... tried the waffle station but the batter poured out like pink slime and smelled like artificial chemicals (fake strawberry?). 「We stayed here 2 nights to attend a wedding. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The decor was charming. It was very quiet. The staff were super friendly. The hotel itself is close to everything in Boone. Would definitely stay here again.」

Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. 「We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. 「The place was very clean with a full kitchen, comfortable bed, access to a large number of tv channels, and a nice living area. Not being particularly technologically savvy, it took some time to figure out the check in, especially since there is no check in staff. The tub sides were quite high and the shower lacked stabilizer bars, which made older folks like myself feel a bit unstable. The shower floor could get slick and result in a fall if not careful.
