「We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. 「Pros of room 208: ** Spacious, double floor room with stairs Cons of room 208: ** No AC, but there were two box fans (fans were extremely dirty, three guests have allergies & asthma) ** Shower head in bathroom on the bottom floor needs to be replaced, barely any water came out ** Sofa bed was horrendous and needs to be replaced, springs and mattress were so old that it was like sleeping in a bowl, 1 person decided to sleep on the floor ** Main room door was very difficult to lock from both...

「When pulling out the sofa bed a sheet was found with feces on it, we were disgusted. They brought us new sheets and were apologetic. But that is a health violation in my mind, and we wondered what else we would find. The hotel is quiet and has a really nice outdoor area for relaxing. Breakfast was really good!」

「Pool was under construction but the property had been update and wa in a great location. Peaceful and quiet. The best part was the restaurant onsite and the weather. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.」

「Overall, the place is good - very new and well-maintained. Issue with our say is that the laminate floors in the room were not properly cleaned and mopped. Difficult to accept this when you have young babies, walking and crawling, and their feet are black due to how dirty the floor is. We did request that they be cleaned twice however, for some reason, the cleaning staff did not address this. It seems that they are cutting costs on the cleaning side being that they only replace towels and take...

「PROS: Friendly staff. The rooms were very clean. Bathroom was spotless. Amazing breakfast! A convenient two-minute drive to App State! CONS: The tiniest parking spaces I've ever seen at a hotel. Ridiculously narrow and short! A contractor's truck was sticking way out into one of the traffic aisle entrances and everyone had to maneuver around it. Might suggest contractor's staying overnight with large vehicles park at the end of the parking lot to avoid any future mishaps or accidents.」
