「Seems nice in pictures but was not in person. Slight old smell throughout. TV was ancient... not even a Guide, forget about apps or connectivity. Bed uncomfortable/basic. Breakfast was as bad as hotel breakfast can be.... tried the waffle station but the batter poured out like pink slime and smelled like artificial chemicals (fake strawberry?). 「We stayed here 2 nights to attend a wedding. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The decor was charming. It was very quiet. The staff were super friendly. The hotel itself is close to everything in Boone. Would definitely stay here again.」

「We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. 「When I called re a florist in the area for fresh bouquet, the manager said he'd be happy to get their Gardener to cut flowers and make a bouquet for me. Wow, that was so nice!
