Great place to stay in a great location. Rooms are dated but it's okay, it's an older lodge. They were very clean. Everyone was super friendly. The outside of the building needs a little love, but don't let that fool you. Would absolutely stay here again!

My only complaint is that I could not get the hot and cold water to balance in the shower but I notified front desk as I was checking out and she said she’d get maintenance right on it. Everything was nice.

It was just an OK place to stay. Our room was clean however it was facing the main road and we could hear all traffic throughout the night. Wallpaper in room was old, outdated and peeling from walls. Main hallway carpets were also old and dirty.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, as were the changing areas. This is an older hotel that could use some updating - new flooring would really help- but for the price and location, it was perfect for our needs.

The lodge property is old time rustic, which was what we were looking for in the mountains. We made good use of the kitchenette in our room. Sauna, large hot tub and large indoor pool were very clean and relaxing. We will visit again and bring our grandsons next time. Authentic vintage North Carolina lodge.

This is a small hotel with prime location. The suite was two bedroom, views from all windows incredible, great amenities, and congenial staff. The only issue was the number of stairs.
