I have stayed in different hotels in Boone and this is one of the worst. It’s run down with dirty carpets, pillows were cushion size, water didn’t drain while taking shower and bad smell in the elevator. Don’t have any reason to stay here again.

Convieniant if you have business on the east side of town. Room was basic and good value for the price. Mattresses could use replacing. If you don't want to hear the traffic on King St ask for a room on the back side of the building.

Do not stay here. Unclean, not well kept, musty, guest laundry didn’t work, so much ice & frost on the freezer it can’t be used. The list goes on. I would prefer to stay in my car. Will never stay in a Choice hotel again - paid WAY TOO MUCH for this place. It was worth less than 1/2 of what we paid. The pictures grossly misrepresented the actual accommodation. Expedia doesn’t help. I wanted to stay elsewhere, even in my car. But didn’t get a fair resolution.

The pool was cold so didn't use. The elevator was out for the time I was there. Was woke up with fire alarm early morning because toast was burning and took about 20 minutes or so to get shut off. Bathtub was rusted and wouldn't have been able to use tub, mechanism didn't work. Bed was comfortable. Place was easy to get to and in good location.

Pictures are outdated. The entire building feels dark and dull. Elevator was out and sometimes the front door required you to pry the door open. The refrigerator inside the unit made noises throughout the night. You can hear your neighbors snoring. Front desk will take forever to acknowledge you and help you.

The staff was absolutely inept. I came by the hotel the night before I had booked a room for 2 nights for a guest. Inquired to make sure the room was completely paid for and ready for our guest from out of town to check in. I was told that the room was completely paid for, and was all ready. Next day - the guest arrived to have NOTHING paid for and completely a mess. I had to call 5 times over 2 hours to get it worked out, and it was the hotel's inability to process a credit card with a different zip code from a driver's license to a post office box for business address.....which is why I came by the hotel the night before to make sure all was in order. NOT! Terrible customer service and will NEVER book at this hotel again.
