"We really liked this hotel. We chose because it’s close to the airport. It’s pretty and clean and the room was comfortable. Nice pool and an easy walk to the beach. You can hear planes taking off, but mostly outside. The noise did not disrupt our sleep. Easy walk to at least a couple of good restaurants "

"An employee hotel key card was used to enter my room while there was a do not disturb sign on the door. The person ran. When I reported it to the front desk they said I made it up and that it was not possible while giving me the meanest rudest attitudes I've ever experienced on vacation. I had to call the cops. Safety and Security at a Marriott should not be a worry while you are on vacation. Nor should rude hotel management covering up for their staff. "

"Just don't do it. Hotel was pretty, room was also pretty, so its a shame. Very poor management. Strong perfume smell in lobby (stronger than victoria secret smell), rooms werent ready so they vaccumed and steam cleaned AROUND us as we tried to snooze in the lobby at 2:30/3pm in the afternoon. Painting hallways on the room floors - again - middle of the day during a full spring break season with children - so sign, no fan, and no windows could open so there was a strong paint smell. We were gone all day and rooms still werent cleaned by 3pm - we were told 5pm was the allowable cutoff. Cleaning was average. only one person did the usual "hotel" stuff like folding over the toilet tissue and making the room feel "done". "buffet breakfast" was really "continental breakfast" - didnt even include the usual batch of scrambled eggs. it was so diappointing, we didnt bother to go back after the first morning. The AC in the room could not be lowered or shut off so the tech said we could just turn the circuit breaker off - yet the room was still abnormally cold while it was 85 degrees outside. Pool was nice, but only good till around 3-ish, b/c the sun gets blocked by a huge parking garage. I did speak to management, but i booked through expedia, so they couldnt do much for us financially. disappointed with this hotel, especially considering the HIGH price "

"I stayed here for four nights (3/20-3/24) and overall had an okay experience. The shared spaces—the bar, pool, and restaurant—are nice, and it’s great that breakfast is included. Breakfast could use more variety. Most mornings it was bagels, toast, croissants, turkey and cheese, and apples. It would have been nice to have options like bananas, berries, or yogurt. Clearer instructions on where to go for breakfast would also help. Beach access could also be explained better. The beach is close, but because the hotel sits off the highway, you have to go up steps, cross over, then go down steps and look for the entrance. Our room (Room 25) was nice but very small for two people, especially compared to some other queen rooms that looked larger and had chairs and desk space. Housekeeping was inconsistent—our room was cleaned only once during the four nights, and we had to call multiple times for towels and washcloths. We also ran out of hand soap, and the soap dispenser seemed watered down and often spilled onto the counter. Staff were friendly overall, but clearer instructions for guests and more consistent housekeeping would improve the stay."
