This is an extreme budget hotel.
Good points:
- close to the airport
- room was clean (but very basic and small)
- bed fairly comfortable
- AC worked
- much cheaper than any of the other hotels in the area that I found
Bad points:
- neither pool or hot tub were heated. "Hot tub" was pool temp, about 72F
- room extremely basic. No bath mat, no dresser, no phone, no tv instructions, no wifi. No hair dryer or even an outlet in the bathroom.
- our room had a physical key and the charge if you lost it or didn't return it was $100. What was surprising was that they charge you $10 for an electronic key card if that is not returned (never seen that at any hotel)
Also note that because of the proximity to the airport, you will hear planes all night long. Didn't bother me bc I sleep with ear plugs, but planes woke my husband up numerous times during the night.
It's ok for one night but wouldn't recommend it for more than that. We also had a very bad experience in the attached gelato shop/cafe. Very poor service, and one order from our group never came (waited an hour). We were mostly ignored by the wait staff and after being told "yes I know" that we were hotel guests and eligible for the 10% discount, we had to have them adjust the bill because the waitress did not enter it for the bill.
