"I didn't like that the room smelled bad, like cats or pets were there before us. The furniture is old and shabby. The bedrooms do not reflect the overall property. They need to upgrade furniture (run-down couches and chairs). Also, the rugs are old and smelly, and needs upgrading!"

Loved how close to the airport this was, rented our car here, which was better value.

This is just referring to The Pelican hotel Carolina Not the City Carolina itself. Though extremely affordable, the Pelican is NOT recommended for anyone to stay while on vacation unless you want bedbugs (not mosquitoes), stray cats and bird poop.
