Clean and comfortable enough. It wasn’t too far to the beach, but also not a “quick path.” If you’re looking for shopping, skip the San Juan mall and drive 10 minutes to old San Juan. This was a very cool area. Park in the pink parking garage and you are in the center of everything.

We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise. It was honestly perfect for our needs. We arrived in the middle of the night and were still greeted with a smile. The room was not huge, but perfect for a family of 3 for a couple of nights. It was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The bathroom was small but adequate. The pool area was great and my daughter enjoyed it. There was also a really nice terrace area upstairs. The hotel had a little “shop” and free coffee (a huge win for me!). Location is a quick walk to the beach. This is not a 5 star hotel but it was mostly 5 stars for us. The price was right, the people were amazing, the pillows were soft and we will definitely stay again if we get the chance to visit the area again.

This property is spotless, charming, and conveniently located just minutes from the airport. They offer a reserved parking lot and provide a permit, which made things easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Both the room and overall facility were very clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like pool towels. The showers had great hot water, the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool, and the beds were very comfortable. Being so close to the airport, you can definitely hear planes taking off, but it wasn’t too disruptive for us. Overall, a great experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The poolside was very inviting. This hotel is a bright, joyful tiny little tropical oasis in the middle of a noisy neighborhood. The staff were very kind and helpful. The proximity to the airport was the main reason we chose this location but would definitely consider it as a home base for longer stays in the future. The ONLY downside is the noise- you can hear people talking throughout the building as well as outside, and the street traffic and airplane noises are loud and go on throughout the night. Nothing a cheap box of foam earplugs can't solve for sleeping. (There is a Walgreens right down the road). The rest of our short visit we spent at the pool where it was very peaceful.

Quaint, charming, local vibe, excellent location, walk to beach, walk to local restaurants, safe location and friendly staff. If you're looking for a local boutique hotel in safe area then I highly recommend. If you are bougie and need a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, then this may not be your place. Otherwise, this hotel has everything you need. Yes, it is close to the airport so you will hear the planes take off. But you will also hear them take off at the nearby 5 star hotels. We would definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced too.

The staff is just great, we were spoken in french at the check in. The room was clean, bed very comfortable and shower with a perfect pitch. The pool area was very clean, the water was very clear and soft. Quiet environment. Air plane noise much more less than St-Marteen beach. The night staff called a cab for us and arrived withing 10 minutes. Staff is accommodating when you arrive early with your luggages. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

We had a nice time and enjoyed our time at Villa del Sol. The the hotel was quaint, in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The common areas were nice and relaxing. The guests we had contact with were friendly. The staff was very friendly! Our overall experience was good. We would stay here again. The only thing that kept us from giving a excellent review we that the bed was a bit too soft and should be updated.

The staff were exceptional and the saving grace. The property is right beside the runway and therefore every 5 minutes you hear planes taking off starting at 5am all the way through to late evening. So loud it Literally shakes the hotel. Add the fact they only have louvered windows, you can imagine. Our room 202 was small, only had 1 receptacle shared with the fridge. Bathroom door couldn’t be more than 2 feet wide. Literally had to turn sideways. Would I stay here again? Most likely not.
