「I’ve stayed at The Lux a couple times now, and have thought it to be just what I needed.」

「The photos online are not representative of present condition of the property. Tub backed up terribly. Carpet and seating area had major stains. Bedding looked like it might not have been changed, after last room rental. There were several hairs in the bedding when pulling back sheets. Luckily, there was a second bed that seemed better. Add to that, the towels were clearly years old. One had a hole and loose threads hanging off of it. Overall, even for a budget motel, very underwhelming....

「It was good in general. However, the breakfast could be better because the fried eggs had fake taste, and they run out of dough for waffles at 9am.」

「The property/inn was adequate for what we needed. The room was clean and we felt safe. The virtual check in kiosk was cumbersome to use and I missed having staff to assist. The ice machine was either empty or not working. The hallway had a broken kid’s necklace on the floor that was there the entire time we were there so I know it wasn’t vacuumed. And unfortunately police were present for problems in the parking lot three times which left uncomfortable. For the price I expected more.」

「The place was fine. We will use them again on future ventures to the Finger Lakes.」

「The property was beautiful! The room was updated and the bed was comfortable. The floors creaked at night when the people in the room above us came in late but that was the only issue. They only had a very light continental breakfast and no hot items but there was a good variety and some delightful Danish. We ate there one morning and chose to eat out the next morning for a full breakfast. Very nice and very friendly service!」

「Staff was friendly, parking was easy, and the room was clean and cool thanks to the AC. Other than that though, there wasn't much to this hotel. No patio or outdoor area to sit and relax, no restaurant, and the lobby area was small and not very inviting. The bathroom really needs shades, the sun was coming in hot and bright first thing in the morning in our east facing room.」

「Amazing, quietly luxurious hotel and spa experience in upstate NY. Very attentive staff, huge spa with relaxation grotto and heated outdoor mini pool, beautiful grounds, delicious French food. Will be back year after year!」

「The room I had was old looking . Very dark inside. The door was hard to close. With gaps along the door frame. The room had a funny smell and the bed spread was oddly sticky. I definitely didn't feel safe. I ended up leaving at 8:30 that night after my daytime plans. I canceled my night time plans and went home. This room is not worth 158.00.」

「Perfect location, beautiful front porch for relaxing, and everything we needed was easily accessible!! I loved the small premade bags of ice!! Great idea!! Oh, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!!」
