「Breakfast wasn't nothing special. Bed was tin」

「The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.」

「The room itself was rather plain. More like a motel. But it is right on the lake and if the weather is nice you can walk out to the dock. Lovely location and super friendly and helpful staff.」

「The desk attendant Lisa was fantastic. After getting to our room, we wanted a luggage stand. She had just sent us a text to ask if we needed anything, so I texted her our request and she brought it up. The first day breakfast hot food selections were barely warm and was almost empty, I didn't bring it to the attention of staff. I just got something else. Later, I noticed that new trays of hot food came out. I think they should have removed the food items that were not hot enough and left...

「Room was interesting. Loved the spiral staircase down to the bathroom and the jacuzzi tub (stayed in the Music Room). Property is beautiful. You get a complimentary wine tasting and continental breakfast at Belhurst Castle. Check-in is at Belhurst which we didn't realize. Luckily it is only a few miles away so not a big deal to get there and back. No hotel staff at White Springs Manor. Negatives: Bathroom had no door.... was located in the lower level of the room (bed was upstairs) but still...

「The hotel was convenient. You can tell it was an older hotel that was recently renovated. Overall a nice place and would stay again. Nothing super fancy and some of the room furniture could be replaced. The windows are in need of a good cleaning. The desk staff was wonderful both last night and this morning. Super friendly. The breakfast was good, basic but good. The parking lot has a few larger potholes and needs attention. Overall nice place and would stay again. Thank you!」

「So disappointing for our anniversary! The room was filthy, and it smelled like mold! We absolutely froze! We had turned the heat on, but still had to utilize the hot water from the shower, and the microwave in the room to warm it up! Definitely not worth what we paid!」

「The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was under renovations which we did not know until we were checking in - not a huge deal but would have been nice to know beforehand. The breakfast was decent. The location was wonderful- walking distance to downtown, local parks and the lake.」

「Please never stay at this spot if the rate is more than $100 per night. Our sheets had an old spot of blood. There was a used washcloth on the shower. The breakfast was beyond lame. Grossest spot I’ve stayed at in my adult life.」
