"We stayed in Villa C and it was fantastic. Very spacious rooms and a fantastic semi outdoor private onsen bath and shower. Lots of amenities provided to take as needed. We didn’t see any people at all at the property. The beds were big and soft. You do hear a lot of trains, however we used the supplied ear plugs and slept fine. Paid parking on the property. "We were visiting from Australia. The accommodation in the Onsen were first class. Not much else to do in the hotel as there is no socialising area,no bars etc. If you’re after a supper relaxing couple of days this is a place for you."

"For the price this was a great hotel. Clean, modern looking, location is pretty good if you can navigate the bus system as a foreigner. Walking distance to the port to take a boat to the island nearby, walking to beach (5min), 5 min to ropeway that takes you up to Atami Castle. Marine spa across the street is public pools, hydro massage, slide place good for kids, not expensive since there is no pool at Rakuten. View is great. Check in hot is really nervous as it’s only on the tablet and while Japanese national can do a face recognition for check in, foreigner has to do a video call. Line was busy saying agents are all busy for about 5 minutes that we kept dialing back on and on, thought we would never get in. Just be persistent and keep calling. Other than that, great property for a family of 4."

You can ship your suitcase to the airport via the Kuroneko Yamato service inside the station, and the Tully's Coffee on the ground floor is a lovely space—this is also where you can pick up your complimentary breakfast."

"I would come back. Room was great, but surprised there was no bathtub in the room, since it is in the photos. I would have paid more for that had I known. View is incredible, and worth it for that alone. The onsen is fine, but not overly exceptional. The staff is excellent with heartfelt delivery. It’s a cab ride up the hill, and nothing is close, but again, the view is worth it and very romantic. Food is mostly buffet, and just okay, but serviceable. Go for the romantic stay and exceptional staff."
