"Staff were excellent. I found that I lost my passport when I was checking in. They helped to call my last hotel, seeked for their help to the room I stayed lastly, and arranged with them to send it back by courier. Thank you very much for their nice help.
BTW, the local "taksashi" crab at nearby restaurant is super super oishii!! Must try!!"

"Great spot, the pictures don't really show how fancy it feels inside. Lots of great info for guests around the hotel. Location is great overall, close to Gora Open Air museum. "

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. The toilet and shower were also clean. Overall good value for the place especially visiting during an extremely busy time of year (New Years) in Hakone. The descriptions/reviews provided by other guest were pretty spot on. "

"We had the Mt Fuji View superior twin room (middle floor = 6/F - 9/F). 26.5 m2. I requested a room on a higher floor and we got a room on 7/F. We were very happy. Once I got into the room, my first thought was "This is so luxurious!" It is indeed a luxury hotel. And there were two chairs in front of the ceiling-to-floor glass panel for us to enjoy the Fujisan view. It was amazing. We could see Fujisan at different times of the day under all different weather conditions!! Not to mention the fact that we saw the rare "ring clouds" in the last afternoon we were there! The room was even better than how it looked in the photos.
Breakfast at Robata Grill L'EAU has all the usual items plus French toasts, the famous Mishima Croquettes, grilled salmon steaks, mackerel pieces and even whole horse mackerels! The view on 13/F was just as amazing!
The hotel uses the Fujisan motif everywhere, from the room key card sleeve, the Do not disturb and Please make up room signs to the crockery in the rooms. And I think the quilt covers feature patterns of Mishima symbols. I saw them on the glass panels at the Mishima Tourist Information Centre and asked what they were. I thought that was a nice touch.
Lastly, the hotel lobby has a miniature model of the hotel with the various trains tracks and trains including Doctor Yellow (retired 29/1/25). Just lovely! And hotel merchandise for sale. "
"Clean nice room, great service, very good shabu-shabu. A good two nights stay with yung kids who were happy playing in a hot spring water park in a cold winter. Easy use with Hakone Freepass to enjoy a full Hakone loop trip."
"Legitimately the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Top tier service from time of entry, very clean facility, and food served at dinner and breakfast were excellent.
My partner and I were surprised at how comfortable the beds were. "
